Day 2: MARRAKECH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – TELOUET KASBAH – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – DADES GORGE

DRIVING TIME: ABOUT 6 HOURS (325KM)

After an early breakfast, you will head off Marrakech, Wind past red slopes and green terraces as you make your way south towards Dades Gorge, a beautiful historical place where you will enjoy the view of a series of rugged wadi gorges carved out by the Dadès River in Morocco.

On the way there, you will take a look at Tizi N’Tichka, a mountain pass linking the south-east of Marrakech to the city of Ouarzazate through the high Atlas mountains at an elevation of ‎2,260m providing a nostalgic and a breathtaking sight of the mountain. You will also pay a visit to Telouet Kasbah built in the 18th centuries and Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a traditional mud-brick city illustrating the Moroccan earthen clay architecture – featured in many successful movies such as “Gladiator” and “game of thrones”.

DAY 3 : DADES GORGES – THE GREAT DUNES OF ERG CHEBBI

EMBRACING THE DESERT LANDS OF ERG CHEBBI DRIVING (0KM)

A destination as special as the Sahara desert cannot be experienced in a single evening. You need to spend at least 48 hours here, so you can appreciate life in the desert and see how it’s always changing.

After a slow and relaxing morning, set off on a camel ride around the dunes, with a picnic lunch – an Absolute Morocco exclusive experience –

In the afternoon, closer to the dunes, you can take the camp’s sand boards for a few hours of surfing, visit a nomadic family and share a tea with them, a fascinating experience to gain insights into their way of life.

As the sun sets over the Saharan dunes, celebrate your unforgettable desert foray with a scenic sundowner, enjoy a traditional dinner and gather around a fire beneath the stars for an evening of storytelling and traditional music.

DAY 5 : AGDZ OASIS

DRIVING TIME: ABOUT 6 HOURS (300KM)

The aroma of mint tea mingles with scents of breakfast. The cup of tea warms your hand as the sunshine spreads across the golden expanse of the sand dunes. You wave goodbye to your hosts at the camp and journey through the Daraa valley to Agdz “resting place”.

On your way, you can stop at Rissani to visit the local market where locals sell whatever they have, grow or produce (Operating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday)

Here is an opportunity to see the rural side of Morocco after experiencing life in the magical Sahara desert. You’ll spend the night in the Oasis or Ouarzazate.

DAY 6 : AGDZ – MARRAKECH

DRIVING TIME: ABOUT 6 HOURS (262KM)

After breakfast you’ll set off to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. After checking into your hotel and resting up, head to a traditional Hammam for a hot relaxing Hammam experience and Massage, a passionate experience to unwind and charge your batteries to discover the legendary Marrakech.

DAY 7 : MARRAKECH

EXPLORE THE RED CITY (0KM)

Steam rises from your fresh-brewed breakfast mint tea, the locals turn in the labyrinth of the Medina to get to their work, you can hear the craftsmen who start their trade, from the cobbling shoes displayed gracefully, to the shaping and smoothing leather. After breakfast, set out on a full day guided tour. You will walk through the narrow, maze-like streets of the medina, lined with colorful shops brimming with rugs, spices, discover the Palace of the Bahia, and many other hidden treasures.

You’ll get to stop for lunch at one of our favorite restaurants where they’ll amaze you with their flavorful food.

DAY 8 : DEPART MARRAKECH

ENDLESS MOROCCO (0KM)

Your private driver will meet in your hotel and escort you to Marrakech Menara Airport for your flight home. The trails took you to the Sahara desert and above the mountains, along ancient caravan routes, and through valleys. You have followed the footsteps of the Berbers to embrace the exemplary and inspiring heritage of Morocco.
